After reviewing this concept I noticed white still seemed to have a higher probability than grey however, the first and fourth square resulted in having the same chance. My answers are correct because by looking at each individual image of the rugs you can connect my procedure with it.

As mentioned before I simply just completed each design on the rug by following the pattern that was already existing on it. The rugs when they where completely drawn out a certain shape was formed each time and by counting the total amount of shapes that you visually could see would give you the total outcome for each one. Rug A once counting the total it resulted in being 15 , rug b was 20, rug c was 16, and rug d was 24 when counting the total amount but for each individual square that you can see in the picture there was a total of 6.

After finding the total the probability was pretty self-explanatory for each color all I did was count the amount of each color in the design and record the probability. Then once counting the probability for each color all you had to is analyze what color showed up the most and that would give you the highest probability of getting that color. The way I found my answers were pretty simple but by reading my procedure for each one that corresponds with the given image. By looking at the image to the right find the probability visually, formal probability and find the weighted probability.

The image that I have drawn out is in the shape of a rectangle. The blue is worth 5 points and the pink is worth 4 points. Find the color that has the greatest probability.

After, completing the design you will result in having a outcome of I took all the half squares of the same color and put them together for form a one individual one. Once I organized it how I prefer I then began to measure the area for each color. Through my work I can prove this. By looking at the percentages that represent the chance of getting the color you can see clearly that blue has a higher chance.

Here is where you will not only add the amount of points each color gives you but also include the percentages we previously found. Through doing the math for each of these probability methods blue seemed to result each time as being the one with the highest probability. To conclude this problem blue is the one that has a greater chance of being chosen or gotten. Through this classwork that we did I learned a few new things about probability and especially when finding the total amount through a shape.

I never would have thought about drawing on a design to find the probability of something but through this assignment found out for me that when simply completing the pattern it really just made my process in finding the final answer a lot more easier.

Especially since there was not a lot of different complicated shapes or colors to work with. A habit of a mathematician that I applied to this project is starting small and finding patterns I have mentioned before.

I started off small by simply just examining the shape or rug design but then with time I began to just follow the pattern and then expanded my ideas that then resulted into my solution. Yes, I did enjoy working on this because it has been one of the first assignments that I really did understand right off the bat and could actually come up with multiple solutions and procedures rather than only one.

This assignment was neither hard nor easy it was about in the middle. At first I was unsure of how I was going to solve each problem but as I examined it I easily understood it.
